This new way is a much smoother transition with no yarn tails to poke out. Stitches should be loose enough they dont cinch the yarn. NOTE: The first full broomstick lace stitch of every row is the only one with 6 stitches- in this pattern. After lots of use, the tails snuck back out of my original blanket. Yarn is behind broomstick, insert hook under first 5 loops, yo, pull up a loop, ch2, 5sc in 1 st 5 loops. In the previous video tutorial, I had you snip open some of the loops to leave a tail. I’ll also show you a different way to change skeins when using loop yarn. It’s the same border I used on my first loop yarn blanket. ![]() I think it really adds something extra without over-complicating things. The video will show you step by step how to use loop yarn to make this border.
